Hannah Stouffer - Internal Energy Exhibition Dates: April 4 - May 2 2014
Slow Culture is proud to present “Internal Energy” the latest solo exhibition from artist Hannah Stouffer. Inspired by the perpetual and often macabre struggle to find one’s self, this extensive body of work represents a 2 year study exploring the artists own cognitive state of being. A hybrid mixture of acrylic, neon gouache and airbrush inks creates vivid patterns reminiscent of sacred civilizations. From works on paper, to prints, to 4 x 4’ wooden panels, a wide range of formats are examined. Geodesic shapes delicately layered over abstract watercolors create vibrant compositions which expound on this exploration into existence, possibility, time and space.
